New York City is arguably the most vibrant and exciting city in the world, and that’s one of the reasons that it is one of the top vacation destinations for so many people. The city has some of the most iconic attractions on the planet, and when you head there on vacation, chances are you will want to see as many of them as you possibly can. Here are a handful of the top attractions that you simply do not want to miss.

Central Park

Central Park is 843 acres of greenery right in the middle of the city. It offers meadows, trees, gardens, trails, museums, and even the Central Park Zoo. Vacationers could conceivably spend several days just exploring everything the park has to offer from Strawberry Fields, the John Lennon tribute to the Wollman Rink and Victorian Gardens.

Times Square

Those who want to experience the raw excitement of NYC should take some time to experience Times Square. The area has gone through a number of renovations and upgrades in recent decades to help make it one of the top destinations for visitors. You can find shops, places to dine, and plenty of great opportunities just to watch all the people go by. It also happens to be relatively close to the Theatre District.

Metropolitan Museum of Art

The city has a number of fantastic museums, and one of the most popular is the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is along Museum Mile, which is on the border of Central Park. You can find close to two million pieces of artwork in the museum, including pieces that date back more than 5,000 years. If you love art, or even history, this is a great spot to visit. Be sure to check out some of the other nearby museums as well.

Empire State Building

You do not have to be a giant ape to enjoy the idea of climbing to the top of one of the most iconic buildings in the world. The Empire State building is one of the must-see destinations for most travelers. You can head all the way up to the top of the building to the observatory and get a great view. It is open until 2AM each day, so you could even head there after a show and late dinner to take in the lights of the city.

57th street hilton

When you plan your vacation in NYC, make sure you have a nice place to stay. A great option is actually buying a timeshare property right in the city. The HGVC Hilton along West 57th is a fantastic option that you might want to consider. However, if you aren’t quite ready to buy a place, that’s okay. You can always rent a unit for your vacation. This way, you have all of the great amenities and features that come with a timeshare property, such as the greater size. Of course, it also has a fantastic location that should put you relatively close to many of the city’s most popular spots.
